| Supergirl is a fictional character, a DC Comics superhero created by Otto Binder and Al Plastino as part of Superman family of characters in the late 1950s. Several versions of Supergirl appear in comic books; the best-known is Kara Zor-El, Supermans cousin. Kara is a Kryptonian who possesses superhuman abilities such as self propelled flight and super strength. |
