| Narcissus always appear in anticipation of hotter times. The daffodil is the most common form of narcissus and has great, light yellow flowers. It is propagated through bulbs. Outdoors they are planted as from mid April onwards. The best time to plant them is in autumn, so that they have taken root by the time winter arrives and they can therefore stand the cold better. |
