| Coca-Cola was created in 1886 by John Pemberton in the Jacobs pharmacy in Atlanta, when he decided to create a remedy to calm thirst. Frank Robinson gave the product the name Coca-Cola, and with his own handwriting designed the current logo of the brand. When the drink became famous in 1886, it was offered to its creator to sell it all over the United States. |
