| In Roman mythology, Cupid is the god of love. He is the son of Venus and Mars. He is responsible for the creation of love and passion between mortals, and usually is represented as a winged boy (similar to an angel of Christian mythology). Being the son of the gods of war and love, Cupid turns out to be the God of the lovers, thus creating a balance between love and tragedy. |
