| Champagne is a very important element in the Christmas celebrations, specially those taking
place at New Year´s eve. In the latter, people propose a toast to celebrate the arrival of
the New Year and to say goodby to the year that is gone. A toast is someone or something in
honor of which people usually have a drink, the drink or honor itself, or the act pledge of
indicating that honor. When proposing a toast people celebrate it by consuming a drink which
is connected with ideas of honor. |
